Missions & Evangelism

While we believe firmly in the sovereignty of God in salvation, Jesus has commanded His church to “make disciples” of all nations (Matt. 28:18-20).

We seek to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a variety of avenues but primarily through faithfully preaching God’s Word each Sunday and by speaking to our unbelieving family members, friends, neighbours and co-workers about the Gospel of Jesus.

We teach that the work of evangelism is the responsibility of all who are in the church, not just a select group of people who have the ability to speak in front a group of people.

Our Sunday Service is primarily geared toward Believers in order to equip them to do the work of the ministry (service…evangelism, etc). Someone once said, “We gather [on Sundays] to worship and scatter [throughout the week] to evangelize.”  This is a succinct way of stating what we usually do on a Sunday.

We believe that the Lord saves people who come under the convicting work of the Holy Spirit as they are exposed to the Word of God.

Having said all this, we have a variety of planned evangelistic services and events each year in an attempt to speak the Gospel of Jesus to unsaved family members, friends and parents of the children who attend the church each week without their parents.
