FOR OUR 1st TIME GUESTS
Visiting a new church for the first time can be scary. There are so many unknowns. We get it.
Because of this, we have created this little area to ease your mind by helping you know what to expect and how to prepare for your visit.
YOUR ARRIVAL AT GBCR
On Sundays, GBCR hires a part of Houlton School in Rugby located at:
Signal Drive, Houlton, Rugby, CV23 1ED.
As you drive through the front gate of Houlton School, drive past the sports hall on your left until you come to the parking lot on your far right. GBCR meets here.
After parking, simply follow the footpath on the far side of the right parking lot.
You will see GBCR signs pointing the way to our location.

-
Visitors are our welcomed guests (no need to bring anything)! Just introduce yourselves to us as we'd love to meet you personally.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your own Bible.
We use the ESV translation of the Bible in our worship service, but our congregation uses various translations. If you don't own a Bible but would like one, please let us know.
Bring a notebook & pen.
Everyone is different, but we encourage everyone to take notes during the sermon.
Bring a prepared heart.
What does this mean? It's simply our way of saying we know how easy it is to "just go through the motions" when attending a worship service. We want to avoid that kind of worthless worship.
-
Preparing your heart involves prayer.
-
Ask the Lord to forgive you for any sins that might hinder you from receiving the Word of God (James 1:21).
-
-
Preparing your heart also involves preparing for action.
-
Ask the Lord to help you be a doer of God's Word, and not only a hearer (James 1:22-25).
-
Our prayer is that your heart preparation will result in God blessing you greatly as you sit under the sound of God's Word faithfully taught and preached at GBCR.
