Our unwavering commitment to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture sets us apart. We offer counsel grounded in Biblical truths, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s significant struggles with guidance that reflects the timeless wisdom of God’s Word.
Scripture-Centered
Our Biblical Counselling is drawn from the wisdom and guidance of the Bible. The Bible is the source of our biblical counselling instruction.
We listen to the counselee share their personal struggles. We ask questions to ensure we clearly understand the counselee. Then we open the Bible with the counselee and talk about what God's Word says about their struggles.
We DO NOT practice or attempt to practice secular psychology or psychiatry as a church-based, Biblical Counselling ministry.
Our Biblical Counsellors are committed to opening the Bible and helping our counselees look to the Lord and His Word for help in their times of difficulty and struggle.
A Ministry
Our Biblical Counselling Service is part of GBCR's numerous discipleship ministries. Along with the other discipleship ministries of our church, our Biblical Counselling Ministry is designed to support and nurture the spiritual growth within our community.
Trained Counsellors
All our Biblical Counsellors are evangelical believers and are ACBC Certified or are in the final phases of ACBC Certification.
Our Approach
Our male Biblical Counsellors offer help to men and married couples, and our female Biblical Counselors offer help to women and children.
Counseling Services for Everyone
Our counseling services are available for a wide range of individuals including married couples, parents and children, single parents and their children, couples considering marriage, single men and male teenagers, as well as single women and female teenagers.
